SCULPTURE: RECENT WORKS
The recent works in bronze focus on protecting our world of nature in all its forms.
Judith often returns to the dynamic symbols of Air Earth Fire and Water, as can be seen in some of her other works in other disciplines as well. Currently she is interested in sculpture that becomes an expressive, integral part of landscape. The goal is to create a safe, balanced and welcoming place where one can feel a part of nature and its changing dynamics, and where species can survive and thrive. The purpose here was to create a monarch butterfly garden. The “totem" cast bronze “guardians”, or protectors, recall ancient forms that can endure beyond a specific time and place, in a fast changing world where endangered species can quickly disappear.
